PL 23/24 | Ethiopia Bunna secure back to back wins

Opening day action of game week two saw Ethiopia Bunna registering back to back wins while Ethiopia Niged Bank claim their first victory back in the top flight.

In the early kickoff Ethiopia Bunna edge Dire Dawa Ketema to maintain their perfect start to the campaign under Nikola Kavazovic reign.

Ethiopia Bunna made a single change from the side that outplayed Sidama Bunna, the Uganadan Derrick Kakooza coming in place of Amanuel Adamasu while Dire Dawa Ketema boss Asrat Abate made three changes which saw the two instrumental substitute players for the opening day victory Efream Ashamo and Elias Ahmed were on from the start.

In the late kickoff Ethiopia Niged Bank left if late as they snatch a late winner against Hadiya Hossana to claim their first three points back in the top flight.
Ethiopia Nigd Bank made three changes from the side that shared points with Adama Ketema in the opening weekend, the changes saw Addis Gidey, Suleiman Hamid and Kitika Jimma making their full debuts whereas Hadiya Hossana who nearly missed a point to Mechal made two changes with Dagim Nigusie and Temsgen Birhanu getting the nod from the start.

In what was a very frustrating evening for both sets of sides a 90+2′ own goal from Kedir Koulibaly was enough for Betselot Leulseged’s men to claim their first victory in to flight after seven years absence meanwhile it is for the second week running that Hadiya’s resilient display were undone very late.
