Mekelle 70 Enderta and Fasil Kenema face stiff African test

Ethiopian flag bearers Mekelle 70 Enderta and Fasil Kenema Will face stiff African tests in their respective debut continental preliminaries as Mekelle face Cano Sports Academy (Equatorial Guinea) while Fasil takes on Azam Fc (Tanzania).

Mekelle 70 Enderta who have crowned Champions of Ethiopia Premier League weeks ago were promoted to the Ethiopian Premier League just two seasons ago are set to tackle Cano Sport of Equatorial Guinea in there first taste of continental championship.

Azam Fc established in 2007 under the umbrella of Bakhresa Group one of the leading Industrial Houses in Eastern Africa.

Azam FC joined the Tanzanian top flight football in 2008/09 season and they were once crowned the Tanzanian Premier League Champions in 2014, they were also crowned champions of the CECAFA Interclub Cup twice.

Fasil Kenema will play their first match at home in Between August 9-11 in Bahirdar international Stadium. The winner will be facing the winner of Triangle FC of Zimbabwe and Rukinzo of Burundi.
